ABOUT ME
I'M MATTIA.
A coach by choice, before it was a job. I started as a kid, in a garage, then trained in a lot of gyms — in the United States and in Italy. The weight room taught me the most important thing straight away: results come when you show up and do the work as planned, week after week.
As a kid I was skinny and full of fears, and I had nowhere to put them. The weight room became the place where I went to unload them: a barbell never asks how you feel, it asks you to show up and do your work. Week after week the load went up, and with it the proof that what I was doing changed something — inside, before outside. It is also why I work well with people starting from zero: I know that spot.
I spent four years in the United States as a Division I student-athlete in soccer at St. Bonaventure University, where I earned my degree in Exercise Science. I lived training from the inside: what I studied in the classroom I tested on the field every day. Today I bring that method to Italy — American in its structure, Italian in how it takes care of the person.
Same run, years of work in between. The first client of my method is me.
THE METHOD
It all starts from solid basics: progressive overload, consistency, recovery, nutrition education. I tailor every detail to you: age, level, goals, real life. When the method is built around you, results arrive and they stay.
Counting sets and reps is only a fragment: on its own it leaves out everything else. As a coach I also look at what surrounds the training — recovery, sleep, how you eat, mindset — because these pieces work together. We build the habits and the mindset that hold over time: the body you want comes as a consequence of who you become.
