How I handle your data

Who handles your data

The data controller is Mattia Ferretti, coach. For any request regarding your data you can write to mattiaferretti2611@gmail.com.

What data I collect

Only what you give me by filling in the form: full name, what you are interested in, why you are writing to me and, if you want, a contact detail (phone or email) so I can reach out to you. I also record which button on the site you came from, so I know what to talk to you about.

I do not collect health data through the site: if you have any medical condition to report, we discuss it directly before starting.

What happens when you press send: the data you entered is saved in my contact records and right after that WhatsApp opens with a message already written from your answers, ready to send to me. You can edit it or not send it at all: either way, I can only get back to you if you left me a contact detail.

Why I process it

To answer you and propose a training path. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box in the form, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to me. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

I do not use your data for profiling.

Tips and news by email. In the form there is a second checkbox, separate from the one above and not ticked by default: it is only for receiving my training tips and news. It is optional — without it you still get everything you wrote to me for — and the legal basis is that specific consent, which I record together with the date you gave it. You can unsubscribe at any time, by writing to me or from the link at the bottom of every email.

Who it is shared with

Your data is never sold or handed over to third parties. To run the site I rely on these providers, which process it on my behalf or as independent controllers:

Some of these providers are based in the United States: transfers take place under the safeguards provided by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or Data Privacy Framework certification).

Cookies and statistics

The site uses two analytics tools, under different rules.

Vercel Analytics — always on. It is aggregated and cookie-free: it counts visits and pages read, cannot be traced back to you and does not require your consent.

Google Analytics — uses cookies and only starts after you press "Accept" in the banner. If you decline, it is not loaded at all: no Google cookie is placed on your device. Declining is exactly as quick as accepting and the site works exactly the same. Your IP address is anonymised.

You can change your mind whenever you like: at the bottom of every page you will find Cookie preferences, which reopens the choice. Your decision is stored on your device for six months.

I do not use advertising or profiling cookies and I do not share your data with advertising networks.

How long I keep it

I keep your data in the contact records for as long as it takes to answer you and to run the path we may take together. If we do not end up as client and coach, I delete it within 24 months of the last contact. You can ask me to delete it sooner, and I will.

Your rights

At any time you can ask me to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, object to processing, or receive it in a readable format to take elsewhere. Just write to mattiaferretti2611@gmail.com: I reply within one month.

If you believe the processing infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
